Jeanne L. Malley, 87, of Somers, entered into eternal life on Saturday (Dec. 13, 2014) at Johnson Memorial Medical Center in Stafford Springs, CT. She was the beloved wife of the late Francis B. Malley (1990). Jeanne was born on July 15, 1927 in the Thompsonville section of Enfield, CT, a daughter of the late Joseph and Pauline (Bourque) Landry and had resided in Enfield most of her life, also in Ellington and Somers. She was a LPN for many years and worked with VNA as a visiting nurse. She is survived by her children; Catherine Rumary of Palm Bay, FL, Richard Malley & wife Rosemary of Gainsville, FL, Ellen Herter & husband Larry of Ellington, Joseph Malley of W. Suffield, and Jeanne Gavey & husband John of Enfield, six grandchildren; Sean, Colleen, Meagan, Shannon, Nate and Blaire. She was also predeceased by a daughter Susan Norman and granddaughter Lauren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday (Dec. 19, 2014) at 11:30 a.m. in St. Patrick Church Pearl & High streets in the Thompsonville section of Enfield. Interment will follow in St. Patrick’s King Street Cemetery, Enfield. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Connecticut Humane Society 701 Russell Rd. Newington, CT 06111.
