He was born in Mendon, Utah, On Oct. 23, 1932, to William Melvin Baker and Fern Walker Baker.
He married Vivian Josephine Jones Jan. 1, 1954, in Logan Utah. Their marriage was solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple May 17, 1965.
They had 9 children, 34 grand children and 42 great grand children.
He attended Cache County Schools and graduated from Weber State College in electrical engineering. He served 4 years in the U.S. Navy.
Services will be held Tuesday Feb. 14, 2017 at noon with a viewing prior from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Nibley LDS Church located at 360 W. 3200 S., Nibley Utah.
