Carl R. Wise, 81, of Mt. Gretna, passed away on Monday June 26, 2017 at Manor Care in Lebanon. He was the husband of Janice F. (Nelson) Wise, with whom he celebrated 58 years in marriage.
Carl was born in Clay Twp., Lancaster County on March 21, 1936 to the late Harry and Irene (Seiverling) Wise. Carl was a graduate of Manheim Central High School. He had worked for 41 years for Raymark Industries as a pipe fitter. He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, hunting, camping, and going to the mountains with the boys. He had a love for German Shepherds. Carl’s family meant a lot to him and he loved them all dearly.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his sons, Joey L. Wise and his wife Betsy of Lebanon, Terry D. Wise and his wife Sheila of Manheim, his four grandchildren, Matthew Wise, Christopher Wise, Whitney and her husband Jeremy Martin, Emily J. Wise, and his siblings, Clifford Wise of Connecticut, Larry Wise of North Carolina, Robert Wise of Harrisburg, and Dolores Beard of Cornwall.
Funeral services will be held on Friday June 30, 2017 at 11AM from Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 618 E. Main Street, Annville. Interment will be in Cornwall Cemetery. There will be a viewing from 10AM until the time of the services at the funeral home.
