Roy Lee Freeman, 58 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at his home.
Mr. Freeman was born May 7, 1959, in Moore County to Roy Harvey Freeman and Alene Kennedy Freeman. He was preceded in death by his brother, Harvey Edward Freeman.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Wednesday, June 28, 2017, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will be on Thursday, June 29, 2017, at 3:00 PM at Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel officiated by Greg Biles, Lawson Whitson and Paul Burr. Burial will follow at the Faith Freewill Baptist Cemetery at 34915 Locust Lane, New London.
Survivors include wife, Tamala Freeman of Albemarle; son, Bradley Freeman of Albemarle; daughter, Staci Freeman of Wilmington; and granddaughters, Brooklynn King and Kayleigh Freeman.
