Sylvia was the daughter of the late Margie Marie Kapitan and Bert Dozier.
She is survived by:
Four sons, Charles (Terrine) of Kingsport, TN; David (Bridget) of Cordova, TN; Theodore (Lisa) of Asheville, NC; and Chris (Tiffany) of Arlington, VT.
Eight grandchildren Tyler, Alden, Kaleb, Logan, Abigail, Hailey, Zander, and Cam.
Cousin and close confidant, Vickie Kapitan of Harrogate, TN.
Best friend of forty years, Betty Rogers of Candler, NC with whom her ashes will be scattered at sea.
She was liked by all and will be dearly missed.
