Ramona J. Turner, 79, a life long Glenwood resident, passed away June 22, 2017 in Rush Memorial Hospital.
She was born January 9, 1938 in Rushville to Hubert & M. Louise (Richardson) Stamm.
Ramona married James F. Turner on April 9, 1955 and he preceded her in death on November 21, 1994.
Ramona was a long time member of the Glenwood United Methodist Church. She was secretary at Dunn Mental Health Center several years, served as Town Board President in Glenwood for 20+ years and also served as Union Twp. precinct committeewoman many years.
Ramona enjoyed her grandkids and watching all their sporting events.
She is survied by her children, James Francis Turner II of Boston, KY, Kevin Leon Turner & companion DC Gardner of Glenwood, Sheri Jayne (Sandra) Turner of Indianapolis, Lynette Leighanne & husband Gordon Williams of Cloverdale, Jeffrey Scott & wife Lori Turner of Glenwood and Matthew "Brett" & wife Nancy Turner of Rush County, a brother, George Stamm & wife Jerry of Glenwood, grandchilren, Christa Louise (Mark) Shouse, Kevin Michael (Kylie) Turner, Katie Byers, Megan (Jason) Harper, Jamison Turner, Zachary James Turner, Tyler Matthew Turner, Maddi Ann Turner, Samantha (Matt) Canfield & Aaron Mitchell Williams, great grandchildren, Truest & Rebekah Turner and Jacob & Ray Byers and 4 step great grandchildren, Addison, Adilyn, Ava & Jude Harper.
Burial will be in the Glenwood Cemetery.
