THE VILLAGES, Fla. — Jacqueline (Jackie) Daniels Boardman died at age 77 on June 20, 2015 at the Promise Hospital in The Villages, Florida. Jackie was born Feb. 7, 1939, in Claremont, the daughter of Alfred and Lucille (Braga) Daniels. She was a graduate of Stevens High School and married her high school sweetheart James (Jim) Boardman on June 28, 1958; they were married for 57 years.

Jackie married Jim while he was serving in the U.S. Air Force and moved with him to many bases around the country and gained work wherever he was located. After Jim's retirement, Jackie was the finance manager at Velcro Industries in Manchester, New Hampshire. Jackie and Jim retired to The Villages, Florida, in 2002. Jackie remained active working for the retired military, The Villages Civil War Club, helping with the yearly military balls at The Villages, and yearly alumni celebrations at Stevens High School in Claremont. Jackie's hobbies were traveling with Jim to California, Arizona and several states in between. Jackie loved to cook and was known for having fancy dinners at her home for friends.

Jackie is survived by three wonderful grandchildren, James Landry, Daniel Landry and Rebecca Landry and one great-grandson, Leo Thomas Landry, all of New Hampshire. Jackie is also survived by one sister-in-law, Margaret (Maggie) Daniel, son-in-law Rex Kidder and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She will be missed by close friends Bev and Elliot Perrin, Joy and Rod Story, and Gloria and John Pilot.

Jackie was predeceased by her beautiful daughter, Lawri Ann (Boardman) Landry Kidder; her parents; two brothers, Alfred (Freddy) Daniels; sister-in-law Josephine Daniels and George Daniel.

There will be a graveside service at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 1, at St. Mary's Cemetery in Claremont. Jim and Jackie will be buried with their daughter, Lawri Ann.

In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Jackie's name to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312.
