Mrs. Pierson, Millville, Dies

Mrs. Grace Pierson, 67, 2886 Water St., Millville, died Saturday at her home after an illness of several months. She was born Feb 24, 1897, near Raymond, Indiana, a daughter of James and Alma Flinn Pugh. She had been a resident of Butler County most of her life and received her education in the Oxford Township schools. She was employed at the Community Home for several years and had done housework for several families in the Hamilton area. Recently she had worked at Western College in Oxford.

On Oct. 2, 1943 she was married to Charles Chowning and the couple enjoyed nine years of married life before his death April 23, 1952. On June 23, 1954, she married Clarence Pierson and he preceded her in death Aug 1, 1962. Mrs. Pierson was a member of the Unity Temple on Ross Ave.

She is survived by two sisters Mrs. Ethel (Raymond) Lee, Millville, and Mrs. Blanche (Clarence) Stephens, Hamilton; many nieces and nephews. Burial will be in the Oxford Cemetery.
