Anna Katherine Gore, widow of Philip E. Gore, died Friday, February 18, 2005, at Mayfair Manor Nursing Home, Lexington, KY. She was 91.
Born in Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada, August 29, 1913, she was the daughter of Dr. Philip J. MacGregor and Christian MacGregor.
She attended Lindenwood College and graduated from the University of Illinois and was a retired teacher.
Survivors include one daughter, Nancy K. Gore, of Poinciana, FL; one son, Charles P. Gore and wife Lynn of Lexington, KY; two grandchildren, Philip Ryan Gore and Christopher Charles Gore; one brother, Dr. P.J. MacGregor and wife Helen of South Bend, IN.
Funeral services were held on February 22, 2005, at Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville.
A private family burial was held in the Lawrenceville cemetery, Lawrenceville, IL.
Memorials are suggested to the First Presbyterian Church, 809 Twelfth Street, Lawrenceville, IL.
