John W. Bullard, 81, of Fort Payne, passed away Saturday, June 24, 2017 at DeKalb Regional Medical Center. He was born in Cherokee County, AL on August 30, 1935 to the late Joe and Bell Jones Bullard.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Don Bullard and Rev. Donny Hilyer officiating. Burial will follow in Adamsburg Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 4 until 7 p.m.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Naomi Leavell Bullard; son, Glenn Bullard; daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and Ron Ogle and Lisa and Charles Brown; grandchildren, April and Jason Jones, Jennifer and Derek Smith, Melissa and Ernie Schrader, Jana and Roger Stockton, and Kaci and Josh Worley; great-grandchildren, Daniel Schrader, Emily Scharder, and Jaylynn Smith; and sisters, Ann Tumlin and Linda Bullard. He was preceded in death by his son, Johnny Gerald Bullard and nine brothers and sisters.
