Graveside funeral service for Colleen Mae Salazar will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 27, 2017 in Post Cemetery, Fort Sill.
Arrangements are under direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home.
Colleen Mae Salazar, age 87, former Lawton resident died Friday, June 23, 2017 in Prague, Oklahoma. She was born August 25, 1929 in Lawton to George Marion and Beatrice Anna (Bohannon) Hennessee. She grew up in Lawton and was a graduate of Lawton High School. She married SFC (Retired) Mike Salazar on July 21, 1970 in Wichita Falls. He preceded her in death on August 26, 1999. She was a homemaker and enjoyed reading.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Phillip Larry and Victoria Sanchez, San Diego, California; her daughter and son-in-law, Suzi and Kenneth Sapp, Seminole, Oklahoma; five grandchildren, Michael Tuck and wife Laura, Joshua Sanchez, Jaime Firster, Cole Sanchez and Colin Sanchez; three great grandchildren, Toree, Michael, Jr. and Gracie-Ann; her brother, George Marion Hennessee, Jr.; and her sister Rubena Ann Wallis.
Her parents and an infant brother, Glenn, preceded her in death.
