Salem - Marjorie Joann (nèe Clayton) Henry-Plemons-Graham went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on June 16, 2017, surrounded by her family while singing Amazing Grace. Her family was her greatest treasure and she was loved by many.

Joann was born to Richard Clayton and Mabel Mills on April 1, 1937 in Echo, Utah. She had two sisters, Shirley and Myrtle, and a brother, Harry. Joann grew up in Utah and Washington state, graduating from Walla Walla High School in 1955.

In 1955, she married Willis (Bill) Alfred Henry Jr. and moved to Southern California. While living there, Kenneth was born in 1956, Cindy in 1957, and Michelle in 1965. When Bill lost his sight the family moved to Oregon and continued to live life to the fullest.

Joann worked for the State of Oregon for 30 years. She was a woman of small stature, but nothing held her back - she kayaked, played behind the boat, rode motorcycles, enjoyed camping, and had planned to skydive to celebrate her 80th birthday. She loved the Lord with all her heart and passed that love onto everyone she met.

Because of her huge heart she had a reputation for opening up her home to everyone she met. She was a source of joy to many family members, church members, and friends who lived with her through the years. She offered help to everyone in any way possible. We all knew that we were her favorite. Life won't be the same without her.

Bill passed in 1978. A neighbor who had recently been widowed, Thomas (Tom) Plemons, offered support and friendship to Joann. Their friendship grew into love, and they married on December 1, 1979. Tom and Joann enjoyed camping at Detroit Lake, staying at The Inn at Spanish Head, working on their rentals, and spending time with family. Joann gave loving care and devotion as his health failed, and Tom passed in 1993.

Joann enjoyed traveling, taking trips to the Holy Land, Alaska, and through the Panama Canal, to name a few. Family trips in her motorhome brought her great joy.

She became involved with her church's mission in Mixteco, serving as the bookkeeper/treasurer and spent many hours making sure that every penny served the Lord. Her faith was immense and so important to her in every aspect of her life.

On November 20, 2000 she married Richard (Rick) Graham. Joann was by his side from the moment they married till the moment he passed on May 5, 2017. They enjoyed years of service to their church, Calvary Chapel Salem.

Joann is preceded in death by her parents; her siblings; her husbands: Willis Henry Jr, Thomas Plemons and Richard Graham; her son, Steven Plemons; and daughter-in-law, Diane Henry.

She is survived by her children: Kenneth Henry (Cathryn), Cindy Bohach (Steve), Michelle Christensen (Duane), Douglas Plemons (Carrie) and Janet Plemons Jones (Mark.); grandchildren: John Henry (Shauna), Rebecca Potterf (Robert), Joe Bohach, Keenan Bohach (Kaylee), Skyler (Heather), Tanner and Carly Christensen, Jennifer, Eric (Anne), and Sam Plemons, Sara Sanders (Eric Caplan), Kyle (Claire), Casey (Sharon), Dustin (Samantha), Scott Sanders (Cody), Michelle Sanders Brätt (Spencer), Garrett and Connor Jones; 16 great-grandchildren, with one on the way; and by her beloved Golden Retriever, Levi.
