Is Pneumonia Victim
Mrs. Anna Clare Randolph, mother of Prof. Harold Randolph, director of Peabody Institute, died yesterday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. C. R. Symington, 220 Ridgewood road, Roland Park. Death was due to pneumonia. She was 84 years old.
Mrs. Randolph was born in Georgetown, but after the outbreak of the Civil War removed to Richmond. Later her husband, Major Innes Randolph, gained distinction was an author and musical critic. At the time of his death, more than 40 years ago, he was a member of the editorial staff of the Baltimore American.
The funeral will be held tomorrow from the home of Mrs. Symington. Mrs. Randolph will be buried in Greenmount Cemetery.
