"Harlow B. Van Derveer died at his home in Sloansville Saturday morning, April 7, 1934, aged 78 years. He had been in failing health for some time. Mr. Van Derveer was born in Charleston, Montgomery county, in December, 1855, the son of Fitch C. Van Derveer and Ann Crocker, but lived most of his life in Sloansville and New Jersey, having moved from there about four years ago. He is survived by his widow who was Ella Lehman, and one daughter, Mrs. . E. Bray of Bloomfield, N. J., two sons, Harold of Syracuse and Lehman of East Orange, N. J., and three grandsons.
