age 19, of Flint, passed away Thursday, June 22, 2017 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral service will be 11:00 am Monday, July 3, 2017 with a 10:30 am family hour at Church of Trinity Pentecostal 421 E. 12th St., Flint, MI 48503. Bishop Rosal McFadden officiating. The final resting place for Mr. Arnold will be Crestwood Memorial Cemetery, Grand Blanc, MI. Calling hours are 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm Sunday, July 2, 2017 at Sheldon T. Bnaks Funeral Chapel, 3021 S. Dort Hwy. Flint, MI.

Daniel was born November 29, 1997 in Flint, Michigan to Latora LaShon Spicer of Flint, and Germaine LaShon McClain of Detroit. Daniel’s life was just beginning. He loved playing basketball, listening to music, fishing, spending time with his brother Germaine and his son, Jedidiah (Duke). He loved telling jokes and making people laugh.

Daniel leaves his legacy of his son, Jedidiah “Duke” Arnold of Mt. Morris, Michigan; his mother, Latora Lashon Spicer of Flint; his father, Jermaine LaShon McClain of Detroit; 4 brothers, Jabarr, Daniel, Germaine and Shyron; 3 sisters, Shanice and Angel, both of Flint, and Keteaunna of Ohio; 1 stepbrother, Amire of Detroit, 3 stepsisters, Envy, Montasia and Janiaya of Flint; grandfather, John Ross of Flint; grandmothers, Verna (Taylor McCaskey) Spicer of Flint; 3 nephews, DaVonta, Jhy’aire and Ja’khi; 12 uncles including special uncles Shyron “Punkin” Franklin, D’antae “Chewdy” Smith, Jerell McClain, John (Bay-bay) Ross, Jr., David Arnold and Michael “Boo-boo” Smith; 2 aunts, Tonique “Nikki” Willingham and Ebony “Kitty” Smith; many cousins including special cousin Jaki “J”, Khalilla, Denarius “D” and Leonard “Boogie”; and a host of other relatives and friends, including special friends, Eric, Alonzo, Brandon, Mike, TreVon, Tyrece and Josiah.

Daniel was preceded in death by his grandmother, Helen Spicer; uncle, Delrico Willingham; great aunt, Teresa Spicer, great-grandmother, Helen Spicer; great-uncle Charlie McFadden; and cousin Damarious Spicer.
