A native and lifelong resident of Henderson County, she was a daughter of Norma Thompson Cornwell of Hendersonville and the late Charles William Cornwell, Sr.
Becky graduated from East Henderson High School and worked for over 20 years in Research and Development with Dampp Chaser Electronics Corporation. She was a Baptist of the Christian Faith.
Becky was a warm, caring person who dearly loved her son, her family and her friends.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her fiancé, Michael Lee Waldrop; son, Seth Baldwin and wife, Shelby, of Charlotte; sister, Trina Williams and husband, Al, of Hickory; brother, Charlie Cornwell and wife, Melissa, of Hendersonville; nieces, Katherine Howell and Rebecca Cornwell; and nephews, Alex Williams, Charles Cornwell III and Josh Cornwell.
A Celebration of Becky's Life will be from 2-4 PM Saturday, June 10 in the Fellowship Building of Tracy Grove Baptist Church.
