Joyce was a lifetime resident of the Bois D'Arc area. She graduated from Ash Grove High School in the spring of 1975 and then went on to attend both BBC and MSU.
While attending Bible Baptist Church, Joyce met Mark Daniel. The two were united in marriage in May of 1980.
Joyce excelled at the piano and brought joy and happiness to all who had the pleasure of listening to her play.
She was active in her church community and was proud to play the piano for Hillside Baptist Church for over 35 years. In 2001, she had the opportunity to work for the Ash Grove School District, where she was currently employed.
Joyce is survived by her husband Mark and sons, Shane and wife Kristen, Trevor, Aaron and wife Lauren, and grandchildren Makenzie, Maddox, and Jaelynn.
Also surviving Joyce are her mother; sister, Carolyn West and husband Wayne.
She was preceded in death by her father and her grandparents.
Burial at Clear Creek Cemetery.
