Christina Kay Brown, age 48, of Stuart, died on Sunday, June 18, 2017. Christina was born on May 8, 1969 in Ada to Jack and Janet Watters Merrell. She attended Konawa Public School and graduated from Konawa High School with the Class of 1987. Christina married Shannon Brown on March 13, 1991 in McAlester. She worked as a rural route carrier for the post office for about 10 years. She was a member of the Stuart Free Will Baptist Church. She enjoyed sports of any kind and loved watching them on TV. She was preceded in death by her mother-in-law: Rolonda Guffey. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 23, 2017 at the Stuart High School Gymnasium with Rev. Cecil Day officiating. Interment will follow at Rock Creek Cemetery.
