Minerva Ann Hall was born 7 Sep 1829 in Bedford County, Tennessee, the 13th of 15 children born to John & Susanna Hall. They moved to Nacogdoches County, Texas about 1838. Her parents both died there in 1840. Minerva Ann married Joseph P. Smith 23 Nov 1845, in Rusk County, Texas. They had 4 children, James Jasper (1848-1890), Thomas John (1851 - ?), Hannah Texana (1853 - 1919), and Delilah "Dillie Jo" (1857 - 1927). Her husband, Joseph P. Smith died in 1860 and is buried in the Smith Park family gravesite near the courthouse in Rusk County, Texas.
Minerva Ann moved to Coryell County, Texas, where she met and married Ezekiel Huckabee on 24 Dec 1876. Mineva Ann died 13 Jan 1898 in Sipe Springs, Comanche County, Texas and is buried next to her husband, Ezekiel Huckabee.
