Jesse N. Wood, 92, of Jacksonville, Alabama, died on June 22, 2017 in Gadsden, Alabama. He was a life-long resident of Jacksonville. He was a banker for thirty-eight years at First National Bank of Jacksonville. He was a veteran of World War II. He served on the Jacksonville City School Board, the Jacksonville Hosopital Board, and the Jacksonville Civil Service Board. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ellen Wood; daughter, Mickey Holland; and great-grandson, Jacob King. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-lawk daughter and son-in-law, thirteen grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandon, sister and several nieces and nephews.
