Vicki Elizabeth McCormick, 66, of Amarillo died Thursday, June 22, 2017.

Vicki was born to James and Opal Patterson in Amarillo. She graduated from Caprock High School in 1968. She enjoyed camping and fishing, working with ceramics, crocheting and playing card games. Her family was everything to her, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a precious mother and Grammy who will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Opal Patterson; and a brother James Lee Patterson, II.
Survivors include her daughters, Kari D. McCormick Junod and Krissy R. McCormick Thomason and husband Matthew; three grandchildren, Hannah Tomlinson; T. Tyler Thomason and fiancé McCall and Brett T. Thomason; two great-grandchildren, Rhylin and Baylon; six nieces, Cindy Davis, Amy Bernson, Jennifer Montgomery, Jami Brannon, Jasmine McCormick and Aleena McCormick; two nephews, Jim Patterson and Caleb McCormick; and her best friends, Connie Flewelling, David McCormick, Michelle Bernson and her cousin, Maryann Ashley.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
The family will be at 6507 Tilden Court in Amarillo.
