Gary Christopher Jones, 69, of Greenville, died August 13, 2011. Born in Greenville County, he was a son of the late Clyde and Ether Gosnell Jones. Mr. Jones took pride in building homes for over forty years and was last employed by T.L. Young Construction. He was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Norma Jean Bagwell Jones; daughter and son-in-law, Melody and Russ Carnes, of TN; son, David Jones and girlfriend, Kim Hamilton, of Greenville; three grandchildren, Blake Jones, of GA, and Jack and Caden Carnes, both of TN; three great-grandchildren, Melody, Hunter, and Blakely Jones; four sisters, Drucilla Ortiz and husband Jose, Phyllis Bryant and husband Johnny, Margie Flores and husband, Armondo, and Kathy Weaver and husband Lloyd; five brothers, Gerald Jones and wife Betty, Dennis Jones and wife Joan, Tony Jones and wife Judi, Daniel Jones and wife Evelyn, and Charles Jones and wife Becky; and numerous nieces and nephews.
