Timothy Myles Howe died peacefully at home on Tuesday 14 March 2017. Tim was born on 27 February 1937 in Sun Prairie, WI to Raymond Michael and Alice Marie (Fahrenkopf) Howe. He grew up in Madison, above Howe Brothers Plumbing on Williamson Street, next to Fire Station Number 3. His parents, older brothers, and the firemen instilled a wonderful sense of humor, a strong work ethic, and a sense of responsibility in Tim. He graduated from East High School in 1955, and The University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1960. On 6 February 1960, he married the love of his life, Mary Lynn Duehr. He was the Manager of the Optical Department at the Davis and Duehr Eye Clinic for many years. Tim was a great plumber, optician, fisherman, philosopher, historian, comedian, and lover of 20's and 30's jazz. He was a man who loved and was loved by his family. Tim is survived by his wife Mary; daughters Melanie (John) Zimmer and Jenny (Mike) Bennett; son Peter Howe; grandchildren Laura (Ian Haberman), Jake Bennett (Pahoua Lee) and Rand Bennett (Ken Barker); brothers Bruce (Ginny) and Terry (Gloria) Howe; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Howard Howe; grandson Peter Zimmer; and several infant grandchildren.

Uncle Tim was cremated, and the family will place his ashes in a special place.
