Priscilla C. McAuliffe Provencher, 74 years of age of Biddeford, died peacefully at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House on Thursday, June 22nd, in the arms of her husband.

A devoted wife and mother, Priscilla took great pride in her family. Whether traveling with youth hockey teams, ready to cheer her sons on, attending musical concerts to hear her older daughter sing, or at a football game, supporting her boys and younger daughter along the sidelines in her cheerleading. She was her children’s greatest fan and her husband’s greatest support and partner in raising a family, and providing a loving home for 49 years.

An active member of the former St. Joseph Parish, now Good Shepherd, Priscilla and her husband Bob participated in and led various activities and ministries, including catechesis, youth ministry, Pre-Cana, the annual Parish Christmas Fair, bean suppers, and a variety of support for the former St. Joseph School and the current St. James School. Priscilla, along with Bob, also served as members of the national Marriage Encounter team.

In her later years, she enjoyed being a grandmother to five girls: Anna and Sarah Tatro (Patrice), Leah and Keira Provencher (Keith), and Kalynn Provencher (Brian).

Priscilla enjoyed dining out, going to the movies, special times with family and friends, and a good laugh. She is predeceased by her parents, Marie-Jeanne Custeau McAuliffe and Michael John McAulliffe, Sr., and her son, Keith S. Provencher in 2013.

She is survived by her husband, Robert, her daughters Maureen Provencher of Biddeford and Patrice Tatro (Norman Lemieux, fiancé) of Saco, son Brian Provencher and wife Janette of Deltona, FL, along with her five granddaughters, her sister Kathleen Belanger (Henry), brothers Michael McAuliffe Jr., John McAulliffe (Doris), J. Patrick McAulliffe, and many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours are on Monday, June 26, 2017 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. at Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm Street, Biddeford. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph Church, Biddeford on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at 10 a.m., Bishop Robert P. Deeley, J.D.C., presiding. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
