Faye Donna Adams, 100, Hamilton, Mo., passed away at her home in Hamilton on June 22, 2017.
Donna was born on November 23, 1916, in Chicago, Illinois, to Freel and Vessie (Jones) Waggoner. She graduated from the Kingston, Mo., high school in 1934, and then went on to graduate from Park College (now Park University). She was a teacher in Grain Valley, Mo., where she coached a championship girls basketball team, and then taught for numerous years for the Hamilton R-II school district as a Jr. High English teacher.
Donna was active in the Hamilton community and was a member of The Federated Church, The PEO sisterhood-Chapter N of Hamilton, and The Monday Club and Order of the Eastern Star.
Donna was married to Robert Frazier Adams and he preceded her in death in 1989. She was also preceded by her parents.
Survivors: Son, Bobby (Peggy) Adams, Hamilton; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service: 11 am, Tuesday, June 27, at the Hamilton Federated Church.
Visitation: 1 hour prior to the service at the church, 10 to 11 am.
Interment: Highland Cemetery, Hamilton.
