Tracy Lee Taylor was born on August 22, 1960, his mother’s 21st birthday, on the US Naval base hospital in Key West, Florida to Willie Eugene Taylor and Ann Elizabeth Stroud Taylor. A 1978 graduate of Denison High School, Lee was a talented artist winning a mascot design contest with his picture of a yellow jacket which graced the front of the high school for over 30 years. He was also an avid music buff who loved the Beatles and played the drums and guitar. After graduation, Lee joined the US Air Force and was a senior airman specializing in aviation electronics and was a small arms expert marksman. He was a member of Parkside Baptist Church and a devoted father and grandfather.

Lee was preceded in death by his father W.E. “Bill” Taylor and grandparents.

He is survived by his daughter Andrea Galvan and husband John, granddaughters Taylor, Mia and Jordan Galvan, his mother Ann Taylor, brother Jeff Taylor, sister Lisa Galloway and her husband Jackie, sister Deborah Foster, and former spouse Sharon Matthew, along with numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday June 22, 2017 at 1pm at American Funeral Service located at 4312 W Crawford, Denison, TX with Rev. Jack Galloway officiating. Burial service with military gravesite honors will be held afterwards at Rosehill Cemetery in Bells, TX. Pallbearers will be John Galvan Jr., John Galvan Sr., Jeff Taylor, Paul Galloway, Chris Foster, Matt Foster and honorary pallbearer Clyde Mercier. Family will be at the funeral home Wednesday night from 6pm to 7pm
