July 31, 1934 - June 22, 2017 Morene Brown, long term resident of Northside and Mt. Healthy in the greater Cincinnati Area, passed away, peacefully, on Thursday the 22nd of June, 2017. Morene was born in 1934 in Liberty, Kentucky to Laura and Jim Allen as the 10th of 13 children. She married Lilburn “Jim” Brown Sr. on August 21st, 1950. Jim preceded her in death in 2004 as did her parents and each of her siblings. She loved good music and socializing with the many musicians she and Jim met through the years and, prior to her illness, looked forward to regular workouts at the YMCA in Colerain Township. Morene made a point to tell people that she fell in love with every job she had ever done. Those jobs included much, from early farm duties in Liberty then Muncie, Indiana to decades of factory and seamstress work around the Cincinnati area. She was a strong woman and steadfast example to her children and grandchildren and if you had a chance to listen, Morene could spin and share a good story from a colorful life. She is survived by her daughters Nancy Clark (Dave), Bernadine Tucker (Brian Bolding) and son, Will Brown; by her grandchildren, Crystal Meyer, Daniel Tucker, Debby Massingale, Jim Whitaker, Josh Brown, William Brown, Myranda Pimentel; 8 great grandchildren; two sisters in law; and many extended beloved family members and friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 27th from 5 PM until time of the Funeral Service at 7 PM at the Ogle & Paul R. Young Funeral Home, 7345 Hamilton Ave., Mt. Healthy, OH
