Services will be Saturday, June 24, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the First United Methodist Church, Shamrock, with Rev. Jarrod Neal and Bro. Joe G. Jernigan, officiating

Anna Jean George was born July 1, 1928 in Wolfe City, TX to Hiram and Jettie Spardling Williams. She married Louie Bill George in 1946 and had lived in Shamrock most of her life. She had been a member of the First United Methodist Church since 1956. Anna worked as a nurse at Shamrock General Hospital and was loved and respected by the staff and public that she had the pleasure of working with. She helped her husband on the farm and ranch and she was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Anna always cherished time spent with family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, four brothers and 5 sisters.

SURVIVORS: 1 Son – Gary George – Shamrock
1 Daughter – Jetta Downs – Shamrock
2 Grandchildren – LaceSir Forbau and Trampas Forbau
1 Great Grandchild – Margo Blue
