Chris Watson, 15, of Hogansville, GA passed away Wednesday, 21 Jun 2017 at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston.
Born 29 Sep 2001 in LaGrange, GA, Chris was a lifelong resident of Hogansville, GA. He was a student at Greenville High School, was a member of Faith Baptist in LaGrange where he was active in the bike ministry and loved his cell phone.
Survivors include his mother, Debbie Watson of Hogansville, GA; sisters, Valorie Steele Smith of Hogansville, GA and Michelle Jones of Birmingham, AL; brothers, Cody Watson and Coltin Watson both of Hogansville, GA and Matthew Duke of LaFayette, AL; a special friend, Alyssa Mullis of LaGrange, GA; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Carey Wayne Watson.
Funeral services will be 4 p.m. Saturday, 24 Jun 2017 at Faith Baptist Church in LaGrange, GA. Rev Donald Yancey will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville, GA.
The family will receive friends at the church from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday afternoon.
