Sabrina Collins thought she could fly. Blessed with the soul of an artist, the hands of a craftsman and the imagination of a dreamer, she once in her childhood crafted wings intending to launch from a barn. A graduate of the Colorado Institute of Art, her visual talents soared early. Adult Sabrina earned the appreciation and respect of colleagues and acquaintances.Young Sabrina developed a quiet sense of humor. Adult Sabrina flashed a subtle smile that signaled a friendly tease.

She was born June 13, 1964, to Leonelle and Robert Collins of Longmont. She had a sister, Julie (Keith), and brother, Matthew Paul (Janet), who died in 2013. Sabrina died Wednesday, Dec. 9.
