"Funeral services were held for Thomas Spencer, 71, who died suddenly Christmas Eve of coronary thrombosis at his apartment on South Main Street, were held Wednesday afternoon from the Warner Funeral Home in Schoharie. Burial was in Sloansville. Born in Wisconsin on April 13, 1879, he was the son of Mr. & Mrs. Roland Spencer and had lived in Central Bridge where he was a mason for 21 years. He is survived by his widow, Delphine Carr of Central Bridge of Central Bridge; a sister, Mrs. Edna Champeney of Clinton; a daughter, Madeline Spencer and a son, Herbert, both of California and four stepchildren; Mrs. Clara Ramseier of Warrensburg, Mrs. Anna Ressegieu of Central Bridge, Newel Scott of Schoharie and Randolph Scott of Walkill; several grandchildren and great grandchildren."
