Mrs. Doris Marie Abbott Goins, 75, died Tuesday morning July 2, 2013 at Universal Healthcare in King.
She was born February 23, 1938 in Richmond County to Walter and Elizabeth Abbott. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; G. W. Goins, two sisters; Lottie and Emma, and three brothers; Harvey, Dewey, and Norman.
Surviving are two daughters; Vickie (Barry) Head of Bluewell, WV and Sharon (Gary) Lane of Tobaccoville, three sons; Ricky (Joanna) Goins, Jr. (Cissie) Goins of East Bend, and Joey (Yvonne) Goins of Pfafftown, eight grandchildren; Julie Bryant, Richard Goins, Barry Head, Daniel Goins, Lauren Goins, Tyler Goins, Holden Lane, and Macana Goins, seven great grandchildren, one step daughter; Bobbie (Tony) Mabe, two brothers; Richard (Ruby) Abbott of Clemmons, and Walter (Judy) Abbott of Waynesboro, VA.
The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the staff of Universal Healthcare in King, and also to Hospice for all the love and kindness shown to Mrs. Goins.
