Death of Thomas Lindsay.

The many friends of the genial and whole souled Tom Lindsay will learn with sincere regret of his death which occurred in a hospital in Raleigh yesterday.

Word was received in Beaufort yesterday and a gentleman coming from that city brought the news to New Bern last night.

The circumstances were not available nor had arrangements been made.

Mr. Lindsay was for some time associated with the New Bern Grocery Co., and was an unusually successful sales man and popular with all classes of people.
