Faye Cooper, 61, passed away Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at MUSC surrounded by her loving family. She was born February 12, 1956 in Horry County, a daughter of the late James Franklin and Esther Belle Woodbury Cooper.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by four sisters, Mary Jo Prosser, Frankie West, Patsy Cooper and Sylvia Franks.
Faye was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all. She enjoyed working in her yard, especially with her flowers, having cookouts and spending time with family. Faye also enjoyed camping and fishing.
Ms. Cooper is survived by her daughter, Misty Cook (Jason); three siblings, James Edward “Chop” Cooper, Iris Jordan (Ronald) and Frances Woodbury (Johnny); four grandchildren, Hailey Cook, Kayla Cook, Landon Cook and Faith Cook; two special friends, JoAnn Baker Grimms and Diane Martin.
The family will receive friends at Watson Funeral Services from 6pm until 8pm Friday, June 23, 2017. Funeral Services will be held 10:30 am Saturday, June 24, 2017 at Watson Funeral Services Chapel with Rev. Paul Hyman officiating.
Burial will follow at Oak Grove Original FWB Church Cemetery.
