Virginia M. Rogers-Stephens, 92, went home to be with the Lord on June 20, 2017. She was born August 3, 1924 in Young Harris, GA to the late Omar and Esther Sparks. Virginia loved reading her bible, quilting and flower gardening, but especially loved spending time with her grandkids. She was a member of Carrollton Baptist Temple.
Virginia was preceded in death by her husbands, Clarence Rogers and James Stephens; many brothers and sisters; daughter-in-law, Jeanine Rogers; and great-granddaughter, Deanna Jerin.
She is survived by her sons, Kenneth (Pat) Rogers, Ray (Karen) Rogers, Earl (Diane) Rogers and James Rogers (Tina); daughters, Peggy (Melvin) Staten and Mary Sue (Mike) Reese; 22 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great grandchildren.
