Pat Foster King passed away in the early morning hours of Monday, May 8, 2017, after a long struggle with illness. Graveside services: 1 p.m. Saturday, June 24, 2017 at Forest Park Cemetery, 3700 St. Vincent Avenue, officiated by Dr. Carl Rhoads from First United Methodist Church of Shreveport. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials may be made to The First United Methodist Church of Fort Worth or Shreveport, or charity of the donor’s choice . Pat was born June 4, 1937, in Shreveport, La., to Clyde and Isabel Lee Foster. She graduated from Fair Park High School in 1955. She worked as an Accountant for several companies in her career including the City of Shreveport for over ten years. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Shreveport for over 50 years. Pat and Bob moved to Euless Texas in 1989. There she joined the First Methodist Church of Fort Worth. She was a member of the Loyalty Sunday School Class, the Arlington Women’s Club, Bailando, and several genealogy clubs including The Daughters of the American Revolution. Preceding her in death are her parents; her brother, Clyde Lee Foster; and her two baby daughters that she missed all her life, Carolyn Denise and Kimberly Rae Lemoine. Survivors: Her daughter, Patty Lynn Lemoine; grandson, Patrick Foster Lemoine, who was the light of her life; her husband, Bobby Don King who made her laugh again; her sister, Mary Foster Citrano; her niece, Beverly Denham and husband Mark and sons, Matthew and Andrew; her nephew, Curtis Citrano and sons, Mason and Devon. Step-children: Brian King, wife Angie and son Joey; LeeAnn Olivier-Sapp, husband Kevin.

The Fair Park High School Class of 1955 is having a reception afterwards of coffee and cake at Shane’s Seafood and BBQ, 9176 Mansfield Road, Shreveport. Just ask for Pat. She will be there in spirit.
