Linda Gail Spencer Godsey
July 30, 1954 - June 21, 2017 Linda Gail Spencer Godsey, age 62, of Jackson, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at the Kentucky River Medical Center in Jackson, Kentucky.

Linda Gail was born on July 30, 1954 to the late Reed and Mary (Patrick) Spencer. She was a homemaker and a member of Providence Pentecostal Church.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, loving husband, Doyle Wayne Godsey of Jackson, Kentucky; two daughters, Chrisandrea Godsey of Jackson, Kentucky; and Shauna (Chris) Spicer of Jackson, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Addison Lynn Spicer of Jackson, Kentucky; and Christopher Jade Spicer of Jackson, Kentucky; two sisters, Rita (Doug) Morgan of Jackson, Kentucky; and Shirley (Gary) Howard of Jackson, Kentucky; three brothers, Darrel Spencer of Jackson, Kentucky; Dean (Gloria Faye) Spencer of Jackson, Kentucky; and Donnie (Betty) Spencer of Paris, Kentucky; special nieces, Melissa (Fritz) Eiserman of Jackson, Kentucky; and Deana (Anthony) Tincher of Cynthiana, Kentucky; special nephew, Chris Howard of Jackson, Kentucky; a host of other nieces, and nephews; and many other loving relatives, and friends.

In addition to her parents, Reed and Mary Spencer, Linda Gail was preceded in death by sisters, Louise Hounshell, and Ada Robinson; and brothers, Eddie Spencer, and Willard Spencer.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Watts Funeral Home Chapel in Jackson, Kentucky at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 24, 2017 with Pastor Gary Bellamy officiating. Linda Gail will be laid to rest in the Jackson Cemetery in Jackson, Kentucky with pallbearers being, Doug Morgan, Brad Eiserman, Chris Spicer, Gary Howard, Fritz Eiserman, Jordan Godsey, and Chris Howard. Friends may visit the funeral home after 6:00 p.m. on Friday, June 23, 2017.
