Portsmouth – Carl Eugene Garrett, 91, of Eure, NC, passed away on Saturday, June 17, 2017. He was a member of Pinecrest Baptist Church in Portsmouth.

He is survived by a daughter, Linda Garrett Lawrence; three sons, Donald E. Garrett and wife Jan, Rick Garrett and wife Susan and Roger Garrett; thirteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 A.M. Thursday, June 22, 2017 in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel. Burial will follow at Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery.
