Mr. Jack Doyle Findley, age 73, of Forrest City, died Tuesday, June 20, 2017, at the Baptist East Hospital in Memphis.

Mr. Findley was born October 17, 1943, in Stuttgart, Arkansas, and was the son of Mark Doyle Findley and Maylene Black Findley. After growing up in Stuttgart, Jack moved with his parents and brother to Forrest City in 1957. He was retired and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Forrest City.

Mr. Findley married Janet Montgomery and she survives him along two daughters; Paige Findley Laws, and husband, Terry, and Sarah Findley Jumper, and husband, Rodney, all of Forrest City, one son, Matthew Findley, and wife, Amy, of Jonesboro, one brother, Richard Findley, and wife Phyllis, of Forrest City He was loved beyond measure by his grandchildren; Findley Scott Laws, Mollie Laws, Faith Jumper, Brett Jumper, Jaxson Findley, and Miller Findley.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 A.M., Friday, June 23, 2017, at the First United Methodist Church Family Activity Center in Forrest City, with visitation beginning 10:00 A.M., Friday, at the Church. Stevens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers memorials are to be made to the First United Methodist Church Youth Program, P.O. Box 66, Forrest City, Arkansas, 72336.
