James Roydie Johnson, 90, of Trimbelle Township, Pierce County, passed away November 1, 2014 at Ellsworth Care Center in Ellsworth, WI.

James was born December 14, 1923 in Hager City, Wisconsin to Emil and Minnie (Lind) Johnson. He attended school near Ellsworth at a country school through the eighth grade. James was united in marriage to Dorothy E. Guest at the First Presbyterian Church in Ellsworth. James worked for Trimbelle Township for over 35 years as a Highway Maintenance man, he also was a farmer with his wife and family. He enjoyed traveling.

He is preceded in death by his daughter Susan; his parents, three brothers, Eldon, Melvin, and Leroy.

James is survived by his wife Dorothy; one daughter Diane Anderson; 5 five sons, Clinton (Bonnie); Gary; Kevin (Diane); Daniel; and David; seven grandchildren, Nicole (Kenny) Bechel; Jason Anderson, Adam (Lissa) Johnson; Bradley (Kelly) Johnson; Matthew Johnson; Andrew (Becky) Johnson; and Chris Johnson; six Great Grandchildren, Jenna, Ava, Joshua, Tyler, Kolton, and Travis.

There will be a private funeral with the immediate family. Interment at Maple Grove Cemetery, Ellsworth, WI.
