Vicky Lynn Taylor, 55, passed away at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital on June 19, 2017, after a hard fought battle with cancer.
She was born in Anderson on Jan. 5, 1962, to Earl and Glendora Sink.
Vicky attended Anderson High school. She lived for a few years in Kentucky then returned to Anderson to take care of her husband, home, and children.
Vicky enjoyed many interests including bingo at AMVETS and Alexandria, watching soap operas, listening to AC/DC, and Indiana University basketball. Vicky was a strong woman and was determined to live life in goodness and love.
Left to cherish Vicky's memory are her husband, Rick; children, Dustin, Matthew, Tricia, and Kyle; the lights of her life, granddaughters Keyleigh and Skylar; mother, Glendora; sister, Terry (Danny) Stafford; many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends; and special longtime friend, Les Whitefield.
Preceding Vicky in death are her father, Earl; brother, Ricky; and father and mother-in-law, Ernie and Patty Taylor.
The family wishes to thank the staff in CCU and ICU at St. Vincent Regional in Anderson for their love and care of Vicky. They treated her as if she were one of their own.
A celebration of Vicky's life will be held on Saturday, June 24, at 1 p.m. at Cross Roads United Methodist Church. Pastor John Hackney will preside.
