Melissa Wilson, 48, of Cookeville, Tennessee, passed away Sunday, June 18, 2017 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
Melissa was born in Cookeville, Tennessee, on Wednesday, September 11, 1968 to Ruth Mabry and the late Truman Tinch. Melissa was an avid gardener and loved her job of taking care of those who were in need, but most of all she loved her family and especially raising her Grandsons. She is survived by her Mother: Ruth Mabry;
2 daughters and 1 Son-in-law: Jessica and Charles Lusk , Jucinta Sanders;
2 sons and 1 Daughter-in-law: Jackie Tinch, Justin and Daphne Wilson,
7 Grandchildren Jalyric Wilson, Kyle Wilson, Dontaye Wilson, Angelina, Jake, Sutton, and Justin, Jr.
3 Sisters and 3 Brothers-in-law: Rhonda and Randy Ogletree,
Kathy and Jeff Goolsby, and Amy and Darrell Henry.
She was preceded in death by her Husband Danny Wilson and 1 Daughter Jerrica Ann Simmons.
Services for Melissa will be held Wednesday, June 21, 2017, from the chapel of the Crest Lawn Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Floyd officiating. Interment will follow in the Smith Chapel Cemetery of Putnam County.
