Michael "Mike" Bowles passed away Sunday, June 18, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. Michael Bryan Bowles was born October 8, 1964 in Vinita, Oklahoma to George Oscar and Dorothy Moreland Bowles Sr.
He married Crystal Garrett on September 20, 1990 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Mike was an OU fan and enjoyed watching college football. He also loved being outdoors either working in his yard or fishing and camping. Mike was employed by Helmerich & Payne working as a systems analyst.
Mike is survived by his wife, Crystal of the family home, daughter, Elizabeth and husband, Brian Bippus and son, Dylan Bowles, all of Owasso. He is also survived by two brothers, George Bowles Jr. and Christopher Bowles, mother, Dorothy Bowles, all of Bartlesville and many friends. Mike was preceded in death by his father, George Bowles Sr.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 22, 2017 in the Walker-Brown Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Rick Woodward officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Walker-Brown Funeral Home.
