Funeral service for Lisa Marie Britton, 40 year-old former Weatherford, OK resident, will be held on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at 10:00 AM in The Chapel of Lockstone Funeral Home with Bro. Huston Veal officiating.

Burial will follow in Poage Cemetery northeast of Colony, OK under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home.

Lisa Marie Britton was born on October 1, 1976 to Roy Lee and Sandra Kay (Rhoads) Britton in Tulsa, Oklahoma and passed away on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at Medical City Hospital in Arlington, Texas.

Lisa was raised and attended school in Weatherford, graduating from Weatherford High School with the Class of 1995. She attended college at University of Texas-Arlington.

Lisa will be remembered as a very social person and enjoyed spending time with family and friends, going to concerts and reading. Memorials may be made to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation.

Lisa is survived by her mother, Sandra Britton of Weatherford, OK; aunts, Janet Melton Burwell of Bethany, OK, Glenda and Albert Ochoa of Colony, OK; cousins, Jennifer and Shane Gamaehlich, Kaysee Deffenbaugh, Chris Ochoa and his children Jordan and Josh Whitson and grandchild Caston Whitson, and Carly Ochoa, Ronny and Kianna Anderson, Corby and McKi Anderson and two children, Easton and Charliegh Anderson, Kalie Anderson, Ed and Cherolyn McCammack and their children Cadence and Christian McCammack, Glendon and Jennifer Rhoads and daughter Leigh, and numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her father, Roy; maternal grandparents Glen and Edith Rhoads; and paternal grandparents, Ezra and Emma Britton.
