Hall of Fame Professional Football Player. He started with the Chicago Bears in the 1940 draft at age 20. He led the National Football League with eight interceptions in 1942 and had sixteen during his career, including four in five title games. He retired in 1952, and the Bears retired his Number 66 jersey. He was elected to the Professional Football Hall of Fame in 1966.
