A memorial service will be held Noon Sunday, June 25, 2017 at the Bellmead Civic Center, 3900 Parrish St. A viewing will be held from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and the family will receive visitors from 6 pm to 8 pm Friday, June 23, 2017 at Bellmead Funeral Home.
Melissa was born November 13, 1980 in Waco, Texas. She married Troy Ramos April 2, 2004.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Lisa Marie Weir.
Survivors include her husband, Troy; her mother, Tina Powers; her father and stepmother, James Weir Sr. and Nell; her sons, Gary Leon Cehand, Troy Ramos II and Juleon Don Ray Ramos; her sisters, Jessica Weir and Stephanie Hjellming; her brothers, James Weir, Jr. and wife, Tammy, Casey Cornell and Brad Hjellming; her step-sisters, Amy Long, Kristie Hanhart and Wendy Snelson; and her grandchildren, Adien and McKenzie.
