Addison Yeaman's father was James Moore Yeaman (Sewanee (189_), fifth son of Malcolm (1841-1927) and Julia VanPradells Moore Yeaman (1842-1920). He was a lawyer in practice with his father in Henderson. He married in 1904, Myra Lewis Sebree (1886-1941), daughter of Elijah Garth, Jr. (1857-1905) and Margaret Banks Sebree (1862-1941), of Hopkinsville, Ky. Her father was a lawyer in Hopkinsville and Henderson. Her grandfather, Elijah Garth Sebree, was builder of the Evansville, Henderson & Nashville Railroad, now part of the Louisville & Nashville Railroad, and established the St. Bernard Coal Company, now part of Pittston Corporation. Their sons were Malcolm, II (1905-48) and Maj. Addison Young Yeaman (1908-96).
Malcolm Yeaman, II (1905-48) lived near Henderson and was a farm owner and tobacco buyer for Imperial Tobacco, London. He married Pauline Beard (1906-76), daughter of Dr. Charles C. Beard (1872-1908). Their son was James Moore Yeaman II (1936-90) who served in the Army in Korea.

He was an attorney for the U.S. Department of Justice in Washington, D.C. and a 1st lieutenant in the Air Force, 1953-55. He married (1) in 1960, Diana Jo Smith (1935-96), daughter of Cleveland (-1947) and Helen Juanita Carter Smith (1904-94), of Los Angeles. Their daughter is Allison Michelle Yeaman. He married (2) in 1972, Mary Schrank (Ursuline 1967), daughter of William Joseph (1899-1965) and Mabel Ray Schrank (1905-2001), of Louisville. Her father was an engineer. Their sons are Addison Young, III and James Garth Yeaman.
