Mrs. Evelyn Z. Simard
Mrs. Evelyn Z. Simard, of 90 Ballentyne Brae. Utica, died Tuesday, June 3, 1986, at her home.
She was born in New York Mills, the daughter of Louis and Grace Roberts Schmelzle.
In St. Joseph's Church, Utica, on April 6, 1940, she was married to Joseph J. Simard.
For 31 years, Mrs. Simard managed the Credit Union at the Bossert Manufacturing Co. until her retirement in 1983.
Mrs. Simard is survived by her husband Joseph; two daughters, Mrs. Edward (Sharon) Rowan, of Oriskany and Mrs. Robert (Lynette) Gluck, of Utica: a sister, Mrs. Thelma Peenstra, of Phoenix, AZ; three brothers, Floyd Schmelzle, of Utica. Harold Schmelzle, of Forestport, and George Schmelzle, of Old Forge; five grandchildren, Mark Rowan, Renee Sutherland, Scott Rowan, David Gluck and Steven Gluck.
Interment will be in Crown Hill Memorial Park. There are no calling hours. Utica Daily Press, Thursday, June 5, 1986
