Danny Paul Garner, 60, of Batesville died Saturday, June 17, 2017. He was born October 30, 1956, at Batesville, Arkansas, to William Paul and Mary Jane (Sturdivant) Garner. Danny leaves behind many friends and acquaintances through his career as a computer programmer and electrician which he began in 1981, doing a service he thoroughly enjoyed. He retired from Baxley Equipment in 2015. He was a member of the North Heights Church of Christ. Everyone will miss his gentle smile and his spirit of service. He was preceded in death by his father, William Paul Garner.

Survivors include his wife Melanie Bufford Garner of the home; his mother, Mary Garner; brother, Bobby Garner; sister, Donna Gail (Garner) Cole all of Batesville; sons, Randy Garner and Tim Garner both of Tucson, Arizona and Dylan Goff of Searcy; grandchildren, Brandon Garner, Elias Garner, Anthony Garner, Abrem Garner, Marcus Garner and Adien McGinnis all of Tucson, Arizona; and a host of other relative and friends.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 21, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. at the North Heights Church of Christ in Batesville with Dean Fugett, Alex Mills and Bill Whittington officiating. Burial will follow in the Oaklawn Cemetery located in Batesville with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 20, 2017, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
