The funeral of Stewart D. Giles, 78, who died at the Physicians Hospital, Tuesday, Aug. 1, was held at the Carlton Funeral Home at West Chazy.
Besides his wife, he is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Florence LaPlante of Beekmantown, Mrs. Alice Ferguson of Schenectady, Mrs. Hazel Hewlett of Watervliet, Mrs. Lelia Peryea of Utica, Mrs. Elbert Rice of Schenectady; two sons, Herbert Giles of West Chazy and Loran Giles of Beekmantown; one brother, Frank L. Giles of Plattsburgh; 28 grandchildren; nine g-grandchildren.
Burial was in the Corney lot at East Beekmantown.
